WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE HUNTER MILL ROAD CORRIDOR

Volunteer Your "Professional Voice"
Hunter Mill Civil War Video Needs Narrator

A small group of very dedicated and talented Hunter Mill residents have produced a scripted video of the Civil War history of the Hunter Mill Road area. These volunteers are in the final stages of the film's preparation and are looking for several individuals with "professional voices" and experience in narration.

This high quality film is based on extensive research and includes footage from Hunter Mill Road , interviews with local historians, artifact images, and over 100 relevant Civil War photos. This project is supported by the Hunter Mill Defense League. The film will be available to the public.

Supervisors Defer Hearing onTransportation Plan Amendment
Monday's Public Hearing Postponed Until July 10


The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors' agenda for Monday, June 5, has been changed. The Transportation Plan Amendment hearing has been re-scheduled for July 10, 2006.

Area citizens have requested that this Transportation Plan Amendment include the removal of the Plan's current 4-lane designation for a segment of Hunter Mill Road. The segment is from Vale Road south to Mystic Way.

If you are among the many Hunter Mill Corridor citizens interested in this issue, please mark your calendars and plan to attend the July 10 hearing.
